It is said that Jesus was born in a stable in Bethlehem. Social and cultural activities are enjoyed by people on this auspicious day. 25th December is celebrated as Christmas every where.

It is said that Jesus is the sun of god and came to save the human race from devils, so he was the savoir. December is the month of winter and so people enjoy this festival with snow also. Santa clause and Christmas tree is also very much associated with Christmas.

Many types of beliefs present with Santa. It is said that Santa distributes gifts in the night of Christmas and because of this there is a craze seen in the face of children on this Christmas festival. Children eagerly wait for this magical day of Christmas.

Some Important Things Which Is Observed About Christmas Are:

  1. To celebrate Christmas people come to their native place or we can say all come at one place and thus spend some times together with joy and love.
  2. On this auspicious occasion people white wash, decorate, clean their house, office and thus get rid of negative energies.
  3. New dresses are bought, new toys are bought by children. 
  4. New dishes are made and distributed.
  5. Gifts are exchanged by family members, friends, relatives etc. 
  6. Special prayers are done in church.
So every where there is a positivity in the atmosphere during the Christmas time. Everywhere there is a craze of celebrating this festival in a different way.
