- It is also not good to buy or sell property on these dates.
- It is also not good to buy furniture on panchak.
- It is also not good to start construction work.
- It is also not good to perform mundan of babies.
- Grih Pravesh i.e. entering in new house is also prohibited during panchak as per belief.
- If anyone dies in panchak then 5 idols of Kusha also burn with the body to avoid any problems to family members etc.
- There is another belief in which it is said that whatever work is performed during panchak will be repeated 5 times wheather it may be good or bad.

5 Types of Panchak
1. Mrityu Panchak (Death Panchak)
If Panchak begins on a Saturday, it is known as "Mrityu Panchak". During this period, one should avoid all kinds of risky activities, as its effects are considered highly unfavorable and potentially dangerous.
2. Rog Panchak (Disease Panchak)
If Panchak begins on a Sunday, it is called "Rog Panchak". It is believed to increase physical and mental difficulties. Therefore, no auspicious or important ceremonies are generally performed during this period.
3. Raj Panchak (Royal Panchak)
If Panchak begins on a Monday, it is known as "Raj Panchak". This type of Panchak is considered auspicious and favorable.
4. Agni Panchak (Fire Panchak)
If Panchak begins on a Tuesday, it is called "Agni Panchak". Activities related to court cases, legal matters, and dispute resolutions may be undertaken during this period. However, it is generally considered inauspicious. Construction work and tasks involving tools, equipment, or machinery should be avoided.
5. Chor Panchak (Thief Panchak)
If Panchak begins on a Friday, it is known as "Chor Panchak". Travel is generally discouraged during this period. Financial transactions, business deals, and commercial agreements should also be avoided.
General Panchak
Panchak that begins on a Wednesday or Thursday is generally considered normal and does not carry the specific effects associated with the other Panchak types.
