Hartalika teej 2022 Mahurat:

According to the Hindu calendar, Hartalika Teej falls on the third day of Bhadrapada Shukla Paksha. In the year 2022, Hartalika Teej will be celebrated on 30th of august 2022, Thursday. On this day, women observe a Nirjala fast  i.e. fast without drinking water, for the long life of their husbands, their happy life and health.  

According to the Panchang, Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha will start at 3:22 pm on Tuesday, August 29  and will remain till 3:34 PM of 30th of august 2022, tuesday.

The fast which is done on this auspicious day is very tough, generally this is a fast without water and thus need patience and stamina. The women and girls who do this pooja are really very great. Whole the night ladies and girls spend in chanting the mantra and stories of lord shiva and parwati. Also in regular interval special pooja is done whole the night. Husbands also assist there beloved in preparation of this pooja.

In some state and cities procession is also arranged of lord shiva and parwati where devotees dance and chant the bhajans of god and enjoy the divine time. Another important thing of this pooja is that shivling is made by clay or rati for this pious pooja and in the morning whole he pujan item is offered in holy river.
