Buddh Poornima 2025/Vaishakh purnima: The full moon day of the month of Vaishakh is known all over the world as Buddha Purnima. It is believed that Mahatma Buddha was born, attained enlightenment and Left this world on this holy day, that is why Buddha Jayanti is celebrated on this day.
There is also a belief that Lord Vishnu's Kurma incarnation took place on Vaishakh Purnima.

What to do on Vaishakh Poornima For success?

• Get up early in the morning and then if there is holy river near by then take holy dip in river.
• If you are follower of buddha then follow the guidelines given by him. 
• If you are follower of VISHNU then perform vishnu pooja, arrange satya narayan katha and distribute prasad. 
• Also help needy ones. 
• Perform hawan, dev tarpan on this auspicious day.
• One should worship the Peepal tree and offer milk and water. If there is a Tulsi plant, a lamp should be lit near it.
• On this day, water should be offered to Yamraj and ancestors as well.
• Those who can fast should fast for the whole day on Vaishakh Purnima.
