There lived a brave Kshatriya in a village. One day due to some reason he got into a scuffle with the Brahmin and the Brahmin died. That Kshatriya wanted to do the rituals of a Brahmin who died by his own hands. But the pundits forbade him to participate in the action. The Brahmins told that you are guilty of killing Brahmin. First get rid of this sin by atonement, then we will have food in your house.

On this the Kshatriya asked what is the way to get rid of this sin. Then the Brahmins told that by fasting and worshiping on the Ekadashi of Krishna Paksha in the month of Shravan with devotion and satisfying Brahmins with cloths, dakshina and feeding, you will getrid of sin. kamika Ekadashi 2025

How to do Kamika Ekadashi fast and worship:

1. Get up early in the morning and get rid of daily activities.
2. Go to your place of worship and take a pledge to fast and worship Kamika Ekadashi in front of Lord Vishnu.

4. Pray to God to destroy all your sins and grant you grace.
5. Keep fast for the whole day and night. Those who cannot keep fast for the whole day and night, they can eat fruits.
