Kartaviryarjuna is the son of Maharaja Kritavirya of Chandra dynasty. He is named after his father only. He was born in the 10th generation of Maharaj Haihay from the womb of Mata Padmini. His birth name is also Ekveer and Sahasrarjun.

He was a Siddha Yogi king and had many mysterious powers. He ruled for about 8500 years with all the comforts and no other king can be compared to Arjuna in valour, charity, dispassion, knowledge and other virtues.

Kartavirya Arjuna was the longest reigning Chakravati emperor of the Vedic era.

• Shri Kartaviryarjuna Stotra should be recited by wearing red colored clothes.

Let us begin the recitation of Shrikartaviryarjuna Dwadash Namastotram:

विनियोगः- ॐ अस्य श्रीकार्तवीर्यार्जुन-माला-मन्त्रस्य दत्तात्रेय ऋषिः । अनुष्टुप छन्दः । श्री कार्तवीर्यार्जुन देवता । फ्रों बीजं ह्रीं शक्तिः क्लीं कीलकम मम् अभीष्ट-सिद्धयर्थे जपे विनियोगः । 

ॐ कार्तवीर्यार्जुनाय शिरसे स्वाहा | 

ॐ कार्तवीर्यार्जुनाय शिखाये वषट | 

ॐ कार्तवीर्यार्जुनाय कवचाय हुम् | 

ॐ कार्तवीर्यार्जुनाय नेत्रत्रयाय वौषट |

ॐ कार्तवीर्यार्जुनाय नमः अस्त्राय फट | 

|| इति षडंग न्यासः ||

 

|| कार्तवीर्यार्जुन द्वादश नामस्तॊत्रम्||

कार्तवीर्यार्जुनो नाम राजा बाहुसहस्रवान् ।

तस्य स्मरण मात्रेण गतं नष्टं च लभ्यते ॥ १ ॥

कार्तवीर्यः खलद्वेषी कृतवीर्यसुतो बली ।

सहस्रबाहुः शत्रुघ्नो रक्तवासा धनुर्धरः ॥ २ ॥

रक्तगन्धो रक्तमाल्यो राजा स्मर्तुरभीष्टदः ।

द्वादशैतानि नामानि कार्तवीर्यस्य यः पठेत् ॥ ३ ॥

सम्पदस्तत्र जायन्ते जनस्तत्र वशं गतः ।

आनयत्याशु दूरस्थं क्षेमलाभयुतं प्रियम् ॥ ४ ॥

सहस्रबाहुं महितं सशरं सचापं

रक्ताम्बरं विविध रक्तकिरीटभूषम् ॥ ५ ॥

चोरादिदुष्टभयनाशनमिष्टदं तं

ध्यायेन्महाबलविजृम्भितकार्तवीर्यम् ॥ ६ ॥

यस्य स्मरणमात्रेण सर्वदुःखक्षयो भवेत् ।

यन्नामानि महावीर्यश्चार्जुनः कृतवीर्यवान् ॥ ७ ॥

हैहयाधिपतेः स्तोत्रं सहस्रावृत्तिकारितम् ।

वाञ्चितार्थप्रदं नॄणां स्वराज्यं सुकृतं यदि ॥ ८ ॥

॥ इति श्री कार्तवीर्यार्जुन स्त्रोत द्वादश नामस्तॊत्रम् सम्पूर्णम् ॥

One who smells of blood, one who wears a garland of blood, Whoever chant his names will be blessed with wealth and prosperity, people will be under him. Unwanted things will go away and security and benefits will come closer.

 

I meditate on the mighty Kartavirya,

One who destroys the fear of thieves and bad people and fulfills desires.

 

Whose mere remembrance destroys all sorrows,

His name is Kartavirya Arjun.
