प्रणम्यं शिरसा देव गौरीपुत्रं विनायकम ।
भक्तावासं: स्मरैनित्यंमायु:कामार्थसिद्धये ॥1॥
प्रथमं वक्रतुंडंच एकदंतं द्वितीयकम ।
तृतीयं कृष्णं पिङा्क्षं गजवक्त्रं चतुर्थकम ॥2॥
लम्बोदरं पंचमं च षष्ठं विकटमेव च ।

संवत्सरेण सिद्धिं च लभते नात्र संशय: ॥7॥
अष्टभ्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्च लिखित्वां य: समर्पयेत ।

संकट नाशन गणेश स्त्रोत्रम का हिंदी अर्थ :
उन देवता को सिर झुकाकर नमस्कार है जो देवी गौरी के पुत्र हैं ,जो विनायक हैं, जो भक्तों का आवास हैं जिन्हें नित्य लम्बी आयु, कामना पूर्ति, अर्थ और उद्देश्य प्राप्ति के लिए स्मरण करना चाहिए।
प्रथम नाम वक्रतुण्ड हैं, द्वितीय नाम एकदन्त है, तृतीय कृष्णपिंगाक्ष(गहरे भूरे नेत्रों वाले), चतुर्थ गजवक्त्र(हाथी के चेहरे वाले) है।
पांचवां लम्बोदर(बड़े उदर वाले) है, छठा विकटमेव(बड़े शरीर वाले), सातवां विघ्नराज(संकट दूर करने में सर्वश्रेष्ठ), आठवां धूम्रवर्ण(धुएं के समान वर्ण वाले) है।
नवां भालचंद्र(मस्तक पर चंद्र वाले) है, दशम विनायक(संकट दूर करने वाले) है, एकादश गणपति(सभी गणों के अधिपति) द्वादश गजानन(हाथी के चेहरे वाले) है।
यह द्वादश नाम जो तीनों संध्या पढ़ता है, उसे न विघ्न का भय रहता है और वह सभी सिद्धि प्राप्त करता है।
विद्यार्थी को विद्या प्राप्त होती है, धनार्थी को धन मिलता है, पुत्रार्थी को पुत्र मिलता है, मोक्षार्थी को मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है।
जो गणपति स्तोत्र का छः मास तक पाठ करता है व्यक्ति को फलों की प्राप्ति होने लगती है और वर्ष तक इसका पाठ करने से इच्छित फल की प्राप्ति होती है इसमें कोई संशय नहीं है।
जो कोई इस स्तोत्र को लिखकर आठ ब्राह्मणों को समर्पित करता है उसे गणेश जी की कृपा से सभी ज्ञान की प्राप्ति होती है।
