My salutations to the Lord Shiva, the master of the whole world, the one who saves from the world which is like hell, whose name sounds like nectar when heard, the one who holds the moon, who has the luster of camphor, who has matted hair, who destroys poverty and sorrow. 1.
My salutations to the Lord Shiva, who is the beloved of Gauri, who holds the phases of the moon, who also ends time, who holds the snake, who holds Ganga on his head, who kills the elephant king and who destroys poverty and sorrow. 2.
My salutations to the Lord Shiva, who likes devotion, who saves from the disease and fear of the world, who assumes a fierce form while helping to cross the ocean of existence, who is the form of light, who dances beautifully according to his qualities and name, and who destroys poverty and sorrow. 3.
