Salutations to you, O Lord Dattatreya, the master of the universe! 

Please remove all my afflictions and grant me peace.

O son of Anasuya, O glorious Lord, destroyer of people's sins,

O Digambara (clothed in space), I bow to you always—please grant me your blessings.

At the mere remembrance of whom ghosts, spirits, and evil beings flee from afar,

I bow to that Dattatreya.

By remembering whose name, poverty, sins, suffering, fear, planetary troubles, and bad dreams are destroyed,

I bow to that Dattatreya.

Diseases like eczema, boils, leprosy, pandemics, and cholera,

As well as other ailments, are destroyed—salutations to Dattatreya.

Afflictions arising from bad company, place, or time, and the three types of sufferings (spiritual, material, divine),

Are pacified by remembering Him—salutations to Dattatreya.

Those bitten by snakes or scorpions, and those afflicted by poison,

Find immediate relief by chanting His name—I bow to Dattatreya.

Whose name destroys threefold calamities and removes all misfortunes and cruel fears,

To that Dattatreya, I offer my salutations.

Any harmful spells or rituals done by enemies are nullified by chanting His name,

And bodily afflictions vanish—I bow to Dattatreya.

By remembering His disciple, even lost things are quickly recovered,

He is my eternal protector—I bow to Dattatreya.

This hymn of Dattatreya grants victory, prosperity, fame, and desires.
