This year the amavasya of Bhadrapada will start at 12:25 pm on Friday, 26th August and will remain till 1:48 pm on 27th August, so we will get 2 days to do worship and not only this we will also get Shani Amavasya because 27th falls on Saturday. 

On the basis of sunrise date, Bhadrapada Amavasya is on Saturday 27th August, but the night of Amavasya will be on 26th.
