Pulses are very important and fulfil various nutritional needs in the body. It is a way to keep us healthy, wealthy and fit. They are vary necessary because of there qualities.

  4. Pulses fulfil the needed calorie for day to day acitivities. 100 grams of pulses gives us 1000 to 1500 calorie.
  5. Some pulses have good dietary fibres which are very useful and healthy for digestive system, it also helps to reduce the cholesterol level.
  6. They are also good sources of proteins and generally 100 gram of daal contains 20 to 30 gram proteins.
